What is the difference between WeChat and WhatsApp?

Both apps can be used to send and receive messages as well as audio files, video files and even pictures for free. 

Well, the free service holds true to WeChat but with WhatsApp, they require an annual subscription after using the service for the first year. 

The subscription fee charged is $0.99 per year. The fee (after one year) is not applicable to iOS users because they need to pay upfront in order to download and use it on an iOS device, The Fuse Joplin reports.

On the other hand, WeChat requires no annual subscription. Aside from the free text messaging services, the app also provides free voice and video calls plus sharing of multimedia files with other friends.

 Another advantage of the app is its ability to live-stream content and shares it at the same time. With WeChat, the option to install location-based plug-in will make chatting with local and international friends easy and convenient.

WeChat also has other features which makes it quite different from its rival. Features like Shake, Look Around and Drift Bottle to name some will help WeChat users meet new friends and widen their network.

Security wise, it is safe to say that WhatsAppis less secure as compared to its counterpart. WeChat requires its users to send requests to their friends with the "Add Contact" icon which would need approval from the receiving parties before they can send a message to the latter.

 Apparently, Whatsapp doesn't offer this secured feature, instead, the app user can send a message to other friends in his contact list who also have the app installed on their smartphones . No need for any approval which makes it less private compared to WeChat.

I am a Telenor / Vodafone user. I am able to send text messages to all the numbers except one. It is showing error code: 38 ?

Now we chose first option: Phone info

Next

Right after SMSC option if u see blank space then Enter the (In double “”) sim message center number which is unique for each telecom company as I have mentioned for uninor.

+91908405******.

(search on web about different sim message center number)

After writing number in “” click on update.. Then on refresh. (if it fails then it means u have not typed number in right way)

Its done.. Close and now try to send sms .

Grub rescue error or How do I solve "error: no such partition. Entering rescue mode-grub rescue>"?

I suggest to know few things before solving the problem:

Problem occurred because you deleted the partition(the OS partition) where the grub was located , the Grub(Grand Unified Bootloader) which was managing your boot entry of both OS for example Windows and ubuntu , now if you are deleting it before managing it ,then definitely you will face the error (Grub rescue).

Now we move to the solution: 

(The solution is regarding windows ,I mean after deleting linux you want to recover your old windows OS then follow this) 

I had this issue with my windows 8.1 and  Ubuntu .

I solved it successfully!!

Follow this steps :

1) Remember to insert usb or cd containing Os or iso image of windows 8.1/any other.

(If you dont have the OS CD then use Pendrive as a bootable drive).

2) You have to insert your bootable usb before restarting the pc , after restart 

press Esc button, Now You will see menu

• Select Boot options by f9 button in hp laptops
• Select usb drive
• U will be prompted to windows screen
• Select Repair computer option
• Select troubleshooting or similar options
• 1) Now from the menu list select the ‘Command Prompt’ option.
• 2) At the prompt type the following commands:





     bootrec.exe /fixmbr    
      bootrec /fixboot
     bootrec /rebuildbcd
     1st command is important.
     Press enter and type exit
     Again enter. Close it.. Press on Continues to windows 8.1.
